Kiki privacy policy

Last updated 26 October 2026.

Kiki is a private assistant run by the Kauwe family for one family member, a student. This policy covers the Google data Kiki can access when she signs in with Google.

What Kiki accesses

How it is used

Only to help the student with her schoolwork: finding assignments, due dates and class materials, and keeping her calendar up to date. Nothing else.

Where it goes

Data is processed on the family's own computer at home. To answer her questions, relevant text may be sent to the AI model provider that powers Kiki, under that provider's terms. Kiki's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with anyone else.

Keeping and deleting

Kiki keeps only a sign-in token so it can keep working. The student can remove Kiki's access at any time from her Google account's security settings (third-party connections), or by asking. The family then deletes the stored token.
